These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Turn the Leaf mobile application. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

Turn the Leaf is a personal wellness tool designed to help people build a clearer relationship with cannabis. It provides check-in tracking, pattern insights, and educational content. Turn the Leaf is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Turn the Leaf. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at the email address below.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Turn the Leaf only for its intended purpose as a personal wellness tool. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app. You may not attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the operation of the service. You may not use the app for any purpose that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Turn the Leaf offers both free and paid features. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal are governed by Apple's terms of service. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and branding in Turn the Leaf are owned by Turn the Leaf or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app or its content without written permission. Your check-in data belongs to you — we claim no ownership of the personal data you enter.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Turn the Leaf is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no claims about the effectiveness of the app for any particular health outcome. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turn the Leaf and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases, and you may request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Turn the Leaf operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
